Description

 Wolfburn has been around long enough to bottle a 12-year-old age statement single malt for its core range. As fans since the beginning, we can't help but be a little emotional looking at this beauty. Made from spirit matured in equal parts in hand-selected second-fill oloroso sherry butts and bourbon casks, it's presented at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered and natural in colour.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Sweet and floral aromas, overlaid with a subtle trace of peat smoke.

Palate

Honey and burnt sugar mix with soft spices, and throughout, there is the ever-present sherry sweetness.

Finish

Dried fruit and caramel remaining until the very end.
