The 10 year old expression from Scapa Distillery is a sophisticated dram full of tropical fruit notes. It was matured for at least a decade in American oak barrels and has been bottled at a stout 48%. Scapa is unique in that they use a barrel shaped Lomond still as a wash still which helps amplify the fruitiness in their new-make spirit. Tasting Notes Nose – Notes of fresh slices of pineapple and mango ice cream lead into notes of moreish crème brûlée, honey topped pancakes and cinnamon buns with a hint of citrus peel.
