Release No.4, the fourth chapter in the Icons of Campbeltown Series, is dedicated to the Griffin — a legendary creature said to have soared above Campbeltown Harbour, guarding the town’s liquid gold before its journey to the New World.
To celebrate this legend, we present a 12 Year Old unpeated single malt, finished for twelve months in the finest Vin Santo wine casks. The maritime character of Glen Scotia flows through layers of honeyed sweetness, dried apricot and sultana, with toasted almond, hazelnut and gentle cinnamon spice.
Nose
Juicy forest fruits, candied nuts and crisp red apple, all wrapped in indulgent caramel sweetness.
Taste
Layers of dried fig and orange peel unfold alongside smooth praline, offering both richness and balance.
Finish
Dark cocoa and dried fruits linger beautifully, complemented by gentle vanilla and warming oak spice.
