Description
This single malt from Benrinnes was distilled in 2014 and matured for eight years in a re-charred sherry butt. The Speyside Scotch whisky was bottled in 2022 for Douglas Laing's Old Particular – The Midnight Series, at cask strength, and without added colour or chill filtration. 1 of 635 bottles
Tasting Notes
Nose
Rich and distinctly sherried, darkly fruited and spiced, with vanilla fudge
Palate
Shows an early christmas cake style full of syrup barley and sultanas
Finish
Dark brown sugar and caramelized almonds.
