Description
This single malt from Aberfeldy joins the Midnight Series from Douglas Laing. Distilled in October 2010, the whisky matured in a single refill butt until it was opened in 2023, yielding a total of 309 bottles.
Tasting Notes
nose
Awaft of fresh vanillais initially apparent giving way to baking spice and charred oak
Palate
Polished wood mingles with ripe red berries, a coffee cake styl and cocoa
Finish
Fruit cake lingers with a tang of orange rind and a chocolate / dark fruit sweetness
