Description
41 year old single grain from the Carsebridge distillery, which has sadly sat silent for many years. This one was distilled in October 1976 and left to age in a refill hogshead until August 2018, producing just 200 bottles for Douglas Laing's Xtra Old Particular range.

Tasting Notes
Nose
Golden Syrup Cake, brandy butter and just a whisper of BBQ lemon.
Palate
Waxy peels, banana fritters with honey, old oak richness and fresh ginger heat.
Finish
Dark chocolate, mince pie filling and orange flambé.
