Douglas Laing has a huge range of whisky barrels. All from various distilleries from the 5 Scotch whisky regions. The whisky barrels are 10, 20, or even 50 years ago for maturation. They form the basis for the Exceptional Single Casks. Which can then be divided into series: Provenance, Old Particular and finally the Extra Old Particular. one of 857 bottles

Tasting Notes
Nose:
pure, with notes of Scottish spruce, soft spices and later homemade fruitcake

Taste:
now with bigger spices and more fruit – marinated streams and raisins in scones

Finish:
juicy malted barley before a spicy cough drop, gentle warmth finally.
