Description
This single grain Scotch whisky from Port Dundas was independently bottled by Douglas Laing for its Old Particular collection. The whisky spent 18 years maturing between July 2004 and October 2022, including a finish in a single Pedro Ximénez sherry butt. A release of 223 bottles,
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Vanilla sponge with butter icing gives away to hard candy sweetness.
Palate: Vanilla rich – custard cream biscuits, hot toffee sauce and spiced oak.
Finish: Vanilla lingers on alongside sweet corn and warm buttered gingerbread.
